We FIRMLY believe in Passion -to - purpose. We perform scientific theory and practical science experiments daily to establish a purpose for the passion they possess as a cosmetologist. Connecting the dots is our purpose.
We understand that each student’s ability to grasp each concept may be different. Therefore, our educators are extensively trained in learning styles, classroom settings and given all tools to deliver information in many ways to ensure each major learning style is meet.
Students will be able to access their emotional intelligence through internet-based assessment tools and quizzes. These tools will then be used to help us establish the proper approach to each individuals learning style.
The beauty industry is everchanging, for this reason, training will be as important for our educator as to our students. We will ensure our educators are always confident in providing a knowledgeable cosmetology education. We provide product training, knowledge checks, field trips, conventions, and more as options to support our educators, At AOBCAI, we embrace the unique, we see everything as beautiful!
What a Beautician means to us:
We define a Beautician also known as a cosmetologist, as someone who is empathetic, compassionate and kind. Their technical skills are directly related to their ability to provide empathy and sympathy to all people. These characteristics result in an alternative vision when they see people. They find beauty in everything around them. The art and science of beatification are a normal thought process to individuals in the beauty industry. Their ability to empower people, encourage and uplift others makes them excited about life. They don’t see people as anything but simply beautiful and pure; they are willing to go to the extreme depths of creativity, research, consultation and cosmetology education to achieve this goal.
Our Mission:
We desire to deliver the best cosmetologist into the beauty industry. Student will exit the program possessing the ability to create and perform ALL cosmetic arts services including but not limited to haircare services. Our product will be well rounded cosmetic artist with scientific knowledge to deliver proper application of technical skills and extensive understanding of customer service delivery and its importance for their success.
Our cosmetology program is designed to provide an enhanced cosmetology education. We will produce a well-rounded employee easily trainable in any cosmetic arts facility. spa, salon, nail salon, barber shop, retail store, make-up artist, lash artist, business owner, school owner etc.
We pride our self on the success of each individual and believe in, no artist gone astray (NAGA)! Our primary goal is that everyone graduates and succeeds in the beauty industry. We will offer lifetime continuing education discounts to our graduated including life coaching and industry support services (As long as services are available).
Advanced Curriculum
Our curriculum is designed to provide our students with a comprehensive cosmetology education .
We will discover the importance of color theory in relation to hair care and make-up, the art of body contouring, individual and strip eyelash extensions, brow lamination and more.
Our on-trend education prepares students for the everchanging beauty industry. Our students graduate with the skills and knowledge they need to successfully achieve licensure as a cosmetologist and succeed in the beauty industry.

Job Placement Assistance
We understand that our students want to start their career in the beauty industry as soon as possible after graduation. That's why we offer job placement assistance to all of our graduates who have obtained their cosmetologist license. We work with local salons, spas and other industry professionals in the Sumter SC and surrounding areas to help our students find the perfect job.

Cosmetology trainning overview
Cosmetology Bootcamp:
Here we operate a Cosmetology Boot Camp. Cosmetology Boot Camp consists of 3 stages, Basic Training, Training School and On- the-job Training.
We will push you to excel and grasp concepts you may have never deemed relevant. We believe connecting scientific processes with hands on experimentation will enable students to focus on the process and not only the results.
This program is designed to ensure students can perform all hair, skin and nail services with confidence and skill.
This program will cultivate a professional cosmetologist equipped to receive the maximum in revenue.
Stage 1: Basic Training
*Basic Training will equip students with the foundation of cosmetic artistry. Here students will begin to transform their thinking to scientific methods and practices to that of a cosmetologist. Focusing on the process and not just the outcome. Students will set goals and are encouraged to stay focused as the curriculum will build rapidly and they won’t want to be behind, Students will learn the major difference in healthy working relationships and friendships. They will learn the benefits of seeking out the professional similarities and differences in their peers and how both can be very helpful in the beauty industry. A career minded thinking will be implemented as the program is designed to prepare students for the working environment through cosmetology education.
Stage 2: Training School
*Training school is where students will utilize the foundational skills along with more client interactions. Students will begin student exchanges in the spa and salon. Students will familiarize themselves with the inventory, and practice inventory control. Students will obtain further product knowledge, ingredient knowledge and reception portions of spa management. Students will also begin to perform client services in the spas and salon.
Stage 3: On the Job Training
* On- job training (OJT) will consist of the spas and salon management and service performance. Students will be the full operators with educator assistance and direct supervision. Students will finalize written exams and be responsible for OJT sign offs. Students will be the operators of the salon and spa. They will be responsible for the entire operations of the spa with Educator direct supervision.
Combined Training:
State Board prep will begin during Training School. Students will begin to practice portions of the practical exam and have theory tests to determine state- board readiness. During OJT students will have state board drills once a week until graduation.

Our school is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a full-service student salon floor, professional classrooms, and the latest technology and equipment. Our educators are licensed cosmetologist educators with over 20years in the beauty industry.
